Believed to be the oldest wine producer in Pomerol, the small 7 hectare vineyard sits on gravelly clay soil and holds vines aged at 60-70 years old. A grape blend of 98% Merlot and 2% Cabernet Franc, they are aged for up to 18 months in an average of 40% new Oak barrels.
Tasting Notes:
With this 2019 vintage, you will find layers of dark fruits, wild berries and spicy Oak creating a silky Red with firm tannins. Earthy notes of leather and oaky notes of coffee and vanilla keeps the wine juicy with a smooth finish.
Serving Suggestions:
Pairs well with grilled or roasted red meats and cheese.
