Like other Orin Swift wines, it is very dark in color, aromas of blueberries, black figs, ripe strawberries and a hint of musk and rubarb. A powerful start that also results in taste with dark plums, ripe raspberries and a dash of calcareous soil, then ends with black cherries, sweet licorice and fast-drying tannins. The wine gets 8 months of oak maturation in French and American barrels, 32% new barrels.
